Released on 28 March 2025, Dreams on Toast is the eighth studio album from English hard rock band The Darkness. Issued through Canary Dwarf and Cooking Vinyl, the album arrived alongside an extensive UK and Ireland tour where the band debuted much of the new material live.
The album produced six singles, including The Longest Kiss, I Hate Myself, Rock and Roll Party Cowboy, Walking Through Fire, The Battle for Gadget Land and Hot on My Tail. Staying true to their signature mix of heavy riffs, theatrical flair and tongue in cheek humour, Dreams on Toast continues The Darkness' tradition of delivering bold, unapologetic rock at a time when few others do.
