NEW LP
New sealed copy. Pressed on silver coloured vinyl.
First imagined during the Ray of Light era and long rumored among fans, Veronica Electronica finally sees the light of day more than 25 years after its original conception. Released in July 2025, the remix album compiles rare, unreleased, and reimagined tracks from Madonna’s groundbreaking 1998 sessions, capturing the sonic shift that redefined her career at the turn of the millennium.
Named after an alter ego Madonna created during her spiritual and creative transformation in the late '90s, Veronica Electronica was shelved at the time due to Ray of Light's overwhelming success. The collection features club-ready remixes by longtime collaborators William Orbit, Victor Calderone, Sasha, BT, and the late Peter Rauhofer, alongside new edits tailored to the album’s original concept—a late-night DJ set that dissolves into after-hours introspection.
Also included is Gone Gone Gone, a previously unheard demo recorded with Rick Nowels during the original sessions, offering a glimpse into the rich vault of material that shaped the Ray of Light era. Released digitally and as a limited-edition silver vinyl, the album also features artwork from a 1998 photoshoot by Inez & Vinoodh.
More than just a remix compilation, Veronica Electronica functions as an archival companion to one of Madonna’s most pivotal works, revisiting the moment when she leaned into electronica, motherhood, and mysticism to reinvent pop on her own terms.
