It was issued shortly before the death of guitarist and vocalist D. Boon, who also painted the album’s cover.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe record combines original material with covers of songs by the Urinals, Meat Puppets, Blue Öyster Cult, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Roky Erickson. Bassist Mike Watt collaborated with former Black Flag bassist Kira Roessler on several songs, including “Political Nightmare”, “No One”, “Stories”, and “What Is It?”. The closing cover of Erickson’s “Bermuda” features Watt singing his vocal over the telephone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album also included ballots asking listeners to vote on songs for a future compilation, which became Ballot Result.
